I went. I don't much like driving all the way out to Ontario (from Pasadena), and it took about an hour each way. But it was worth it to deal with good dealers with good stock. After leaving on Saturday, I seriously debated coming back on Sunday. But that long drive convinced me not to do it again. I wish there were a better place for this show than in the far reaches of the eastern end of the LA sprawl. Of course, if you live out that way, then it's a great location! But the bulk of the population lives elsewhere. I imagine the location is a function of lower costs, mainly.
At the Ontario Convention Center, it was odd to find the stamp show paired with a gun show in the next venue. That provided for an interesting contrast in attendees. I've never seen so much camo outside a war zone. I'm happy to spend my time more comfortably and productively with collectors. Less likelihood of "accidents". Lots of police around, though!
