That was the tricky bit, the cover in fact showed an example from Maluku Selatan.

The cover showed stamps to be had for circa 30c, the inside article showed the rarities.


Well, I would have been happy to pay 30 cents each for many of the stamps on that cover, even back in 1950, when 30c. was worth 20 times what it is today.

eg 5-mark yacht, Penny Black etc etc.

How times have changed ,it was back at that time you had to go to three or four dealers to find that stamp you wanted . Today, now you go on line and three or four days it is in your mailbox .
