Hluboká Castle is one of the most famous and most frequently visited castles in the country. The Gothic style castle was built in the second half of the 13th century and reached its current appearance during the 19th century.

Dunluce Castle is a medieval castle in Northern Ireland. It is located on the edge of a basalt outcrop, and is accessible via a bridge connecting it to the mainland.

Castle in Kórnik was built in the 14th century, on a mound in the marshy areas near Lake Kórnickie. The romantic neo-Gothic palace the visiters see today was remodeled in the mid-19th century.
