This Italy 2019 stamp celebrates centenary of Aurora Pen Company, established in Turin in 1919 as the first Italian fountain pen factory. The design shows a vintage fountain pen with a note in the heart and hands of Italians.  |

This one is a little off topic, of course, because it is a cover rather than a stamp. It is an inflationery era, commercial cover (January 10, 1923) of the Koch, Weber & Co. Fountain Pen Manufacturers of Heidelberg, Germany. Cover illustration shows "The Original Kaweco Security Fountain Pen No. 601."  |

United States, Sc. 1099 from back in 1957. The tercentenary of the Flushing Remonstrance. I figured out last year that two of my wife's ancestors were among the 30 signers. I bought her a mint sheet of them for $4 for kicks.  |

On May 5, 1989 Berlin issued this stamp (Mi. #843) to publicize the 13th International Congress of the Supreme Audit Office held in Berlin. The 6.1 million of these stamps issued were valid for postage in all of unified Germany through December 31, 1991.  |
