Yes, the overall watercolor painting is very effective, but the posturing of the figures falls a little short of the mark. |

Whoa! Everbody put on your glasses or stop drinking that eggnog! I thought stamp collectors noticed all the tiny details. In case you have not really looked closly at the stamp, the image is baby Jesus in the crib, attended to by Mary and Joseph in a manger. An artists interpretation of the holy family in a manger.
I think this whole thread has gone a bit offside. |

I think we all know it's Baby Jesus. But from a certain distance back, it's pretty easy to see how someone could mistaken this for a woman playing on a keyboard, and a man singing on a microphone. It's silly and funny. |

I find that this stamp has a very beautiful dynamic, excelent watercolour representation. The light from the sky to the earth represents the divine light, the return of the Light, a new beginning. It refers to a call to open up to newness, to establish something new, to renovate. Very well done here.
