Thanks waddsbadds. Love this hobby. Funny how getting a gifted collection led to me finding a new hobby and passion. I've learned so much in such a short time. I went walking with my eldest boy today. I told him of the history I'm learning from the stamps- he was wowed. I also said, to me, it's more than a history book, people that were going through whatever historical event at that time, they touched it...and we get to enjoy and preserve that history. Thank you for your reply and education.
Hello. I usually distinguish two kinds of false stamps: 1- False philatelic, that made with pieces of high philatelic value in order to deceive the collector. 2- False postal, the made to defraud the Post Office. This is a false postal. Regards.
The first and the sixth. Look at "ESPAÑA" the letters are different, especially the S and the tilde of the Ñ touches the letter, besides that they are green-gray. On stamps like this with big emisions the real ones are worth nothing and the fake ones a few cents.
