'Every time'? As in how many times does it take to realize he's dirty? This is how sellers like this keep in business. Too many bargain seekers thinking he's not gyping THEM.
I think someone has already commented on his "disclaimer" line, "note that I am not a dealer but I do the best I can ..[blah blah blah]" North of 17,000 sales and he's not a dealer...
Unless I miss my mark, the MNH-OG 324 he is offering for $295 appears to have enough gum for several stamps....
edited to add: oh great -- I viewed that 242 Rogdcam highlighted while I was logged in to ebay; now I'm getting email alerts, "bid now before this item ends. The countdown has begun."
With all of the postings in this thread, I thought I'd take a quick look at this seller. The very first stamp that my eyes focused on is linked below.
It is a 1c stamp that has been painted/altered extensively. I suspect someone was practicing on this, trying to hone their artistry skills. This one would be a cull as a useful fake, I think. Of course, the item is offered as a #7 with no mention of the massive artistry, and it has 14 bids.
