Finally got a set of stamps I wanted for 45 years . Here is the complete set ,I never seen this set complete in the hundreds of worldwide collections that I looked at different auction houses . The Steiner page has a error on this set as noted in my scan . |

Congrats Floortrader! Beautiful set despite the anomaly on the Steiner page. Must be a great feeling- I have had several finds like yours and it feels wonderful to find exactly the right item. |

Thanks Shermae .....It seems like my collecting interest has changed a little to finding and buying unusual stuff not found in most worldwide collections and getting the more popular key sets that you find in major stamp auction catalogs .
My main interest is buying country collections of those countries that rarely come up for auction . |

Floortrader,
Thanks for sharing the Tonga page. I think the only Tonga stamps I've seen are the gimmicky ones they produced much later. These are beauties.

For the Tonga stamps, how many stamps in that date range do not have spaces on the page? I purchased some pages full of stamps to jump start a country and found the Scott International page was missing quite a few.

Scott International was a match for the earlier Scott Junior albums. They were missing a lot of spaces that were included in the more expensive Scott Brown albums. The Steiner pages should be complete to major Scott numbers and back in the day when he was still building them I helped with expanding beyond the Scott major numbers for some of his Classic pages. |

Reminds me that I've been meaning to ask how you're doing with re-organizing all the cinderella stamps you bought that belonged to the late Jim Cz (not recalling his exact last name...Czyl??). |

Steve -Have not been working on the Cinderella stuff for a few months ,got caught up in making country collections on album pages and stockcards for a friend to sell ,did clear out a few binders of material .
Hope to get back to working on Cinderellas stuff ,now that covid/ebay selling has slow down . |

Floortrader: thanks for the update. Please keep us posted on how you progress. If you're selling some of that material, I may be interested.
(yeah, I know. "May" isn't a commitment, but I'm not adding much these days due to lack of time to work on what I've got). |
