How is adding "accuracy" going to help a newcomer make this ID easier or better?"
Hi eyeonwall
I am realizing what you are saying that lets not put more and more pressure on new collectors..I agree it is overwhelming for new collectors to fit in.
Having said that, why not start them at a level of perforation understanding..Most say 11. x 11.5 is easy for them to grasp..So why not have a simple more accurate gauge for these collectors to learn about going forward.
Like Jogil said there are plenty of gauges out there that capture say..11.0 x 11.5.....10 x 10.5...etc.
Why not suggest a more accurate gauge for them to get used to..Like....say a gauge that has 1/4 increments instead of 1/2.
Below are just a few 1/4 gauges available to any collector, new and experienced collectors.
Just my opinion....Robert
