I think there is always room for displacement. These sites continue to self serve, instead of focus on user experience. It's sad.

Example it's easier to track closed auctions on watchcount.

I've sold mostly militaria and stamps on there for 15 years. During that time, I've found both the percentages paid and restrictions have increased quite a bit. Also, the buyer now has all the power, their system is so lopsided now towards the buyer. I literally had a guy threaten me via e-bay's e-mail system, reported it, and they did zip about it. Agree with the comments about them becoming like Amazon.
