I always like stamps that honors stamp engravers and their work which gave us the most beautiful stamps in world. This stamp shows the Belgian stamp engraver Jean de Bast (1883-1975) engraving a Belgian stamp. The stamp was engraved by Paul Huybrechts and issued by Belgium on April 20, 1985 to publicize the stamp day. The stamp shows de Bast engraving the 1959 Belgian stamp shows J. Baptiste of Taxis takes the Oath before Charles V.
