Any Interest In Aerogrammes (And/Or) Airpcraft Related Postal Stationery?

Very nice usage of a formula, also with cancel commemorating the day that the UK went decimal. Does anyone have the book that might tell us whose etiquette/stamp that is?

Some may have wondered if there are errors in aerogrammes. Here's one from Hong Kong:

The dark blue is entirely missing. Compare with the normal one below:


More commonly found are miscuts, where the die cutting of the aerogramme is inverted in most cases. Stuff happens with the production of postal stationery, so those errors are scarce but not usually rare. The missing color here or miscut noted could still be used, so perhaps they were just allowed to pass through inspection.

Howdy. It has been a month or so since my last submissions. I shall attempt to put up a bunch today. Maybe or Maybe NOT!

Here are my first two. Both are from the Middle East Country of QATAR.
The first is (H&G #) F-G-1 issued in 1957. Not rare, but getting there!



The next is a new aerogramme (no cat listing in my older catalogs) issued in 1992-ish. No postmark from Qatar, but a "South Jersey" postmark is there upon. Do not know if we are talking South Jersey in the UK or South Jersey in the US. Oh well, enjoy....



Will try to get a few more done today ... stick around.

First is an item from INDIA, issued in 2009(ish) to honor Indira Gandhi. This technically is NOT an aerogramme, but the format is the same, and the concept is the same, just for local India mail.





Next an item from Indonesia. Year unknown as it exceeds my catalogs).

and... finally for this post... An unusual item (for me) is this
item from a short lived Peoples Republic of Kampuchea which existed between 1979 thru 1989. Look up history if need be. This item was issued in 1984 for Los Angeles Olympics. The white (clear) address section is part of envelope this time.

Some years ago I found them in a booth at a street fair.I think it was the family correspondence, as it was the only postal items there, and everything else seemed to be as an estate sale.

It has been a while since I have been on, having computer issues.
Here however are some off main track aerogrammes.
Germany issues many, many private order postage combinations and have them printed to order) on among other things, aerogramme format paper.
