Here's a link that calls those stamps "Pre-Manchukuo Revenue Stamps", which sounds like another name to Imperial China.

Rob is my name, Rob Roy is an internet nickname that I'm using for decades. I too liked his character in the movie and his relative that promoted canoeing. Later I dug into the historical figure and found out that if you dig too much you might find things you don't like. That's life.

When you see the star up and the Republic of China it is what we say today Taiwan. Manchukuo have some in the last period but not to many. The first's one in this post are clear Taiwan, for the seconds photos I will look for because they was used in many places according with Chinese catalog.
