Interesting to see the number of Special Printings coming to the auction market recently. Seems they go in cycles, none or only a few for quite a while and then bam every major auction has quite a few. |

Well, it happened again! I was reviewing upcoming sales on SAN on Wednesday and I saw Kelleher Sale #760 had been recently added. When I clicked on the link, I got the basic "This Page Not Found", or something to that effect.
So..... what is Kelleher doing??? Why do they keep posting sales, then pulling them off for a few more days? Are they 'testing' the system somehow?? Is there an idiot in control of this process at Kelleher? So - I get it - mistakes happen. But I've been on SAN for many years now and I've seen this happen only twice, and both fairly recently, and both with Kelleher. What gives? |

Morning Mooter - Not sure but I do know that there is no Sale 760 yet. Kelleher does not post on SAN in any case. They send the files to Tom and SAN does the rest. A funky interface between Kelleher and SAN since Kelleher's website redesign. All kinds of strange stuff happens for me. The SAN and Kelleher sites appear to be extremely intertwined now with things like a payment button direct from the Kelleher SAN listings and repeatedly clicking to accept T&C's every time I go to a Kelleher auction listing just to peruse. Always dumping my watch list until I accept T&C's repeatedly. Don't like it. |

I saw the same thing got the same results. So I went directly to the Kelleher website and found it posted there but got the same file not found. A little while later it was gone completely. |

Typesetter - yes, me too. I went from SAN to Kelleher and had the same results on both sites. Saw the posting, then I didn't. Rogdcam - yes, to you too. I am noticing all kinds of intertwining between the two sites. I suspect that if you are working with one, you are working with the other. I guess I wouldn't care, except if there is a problem (like: Where did it go???) there is not 'alternate access'.
FWIW, I think this is a sign that Kelleher is about to 'drop' another sale on us. I guess I just want to see what is in it.
ETA: 5 hours later - Auction 760 is now up on SAN. Let's hope it stays there. |

Got an email from SAN about 1 AM with the Kelleher 760 auction. Clicked on the link and the catalog appeared. Looks like I'll be bidding (probably losing) on a couple of items. |

looks like many of Langs better holdings are trickling out. Better than his dedicated named Error sale. |

floortrader - if you go to SAN, you will see that the Kelleher Sunday Sale is listed under 'no prices realized yet'. If you go into the sale, though, and look at the lots, you will see SOLD prices next to the lots. You will also see a bunch of CLOSED lots - I interpret that to mean they are unsold. This sale is one of their primarily house-owned sales --- each lot is going to have an unpublished minimum starting price so it is very possible that you bid on some lots that went unsold. |

Thanks GMOT and MOOT , I got the Ubangi-shari lot . Over paid if you look at the catalog value ,but I never seen them by themselves so complete . Sure everybody can find Ubangi in those $10,000 or $15,000 massive French Colony lots but to find it by itself was worth it to me . |
