Wow! they are two beauties. You lucky devil.
I have always been a lookout for others from the the 1900 expo,
but in Vertical format.
Never met with them yet, they have the irresistable charm of art deco. Art Nouveau. Here is a black and white example.

Rod-

Do you believe those stamps are black and white, or is it just the image that is black and white?

Colour Collin, albeit a guess.
The image was taken from "Cinderella Corner" in the
Australian Stamp News Circa 1970

I began my stamp collecting with Cinderellas,
and that was one of my first scans, I wasn't into dating them at that time, I didn't keep the associated commentary either.

Actually I am in two minds whether they may be poster stamps.
I have some Ajman Dunes that illustrate Olympic history
that look very similar to these, I'll have to dig them out.

..not Ajman, Umm Al Qiwain
miniture sheet lopped to accomodate 90Kb limit
the posters of the early olympics.
I think the 1900 expo black and white are poster stamps.

Anyone care to guess the interpretation of the artwork on these two stamps?
Who is the angel in the centre?

Very nice onetoe58,
(would look even better with a larger resolution )
I was googling the suede acadamy poster stamp,
and came up with the Lunette Poster,
so we can answer Collins question re the colour poster stamp.

I wonder who's visage on the suede label?

I knew you were fond of cindys. I didn't know that you started out there...I've been putting together a few to send to you, but now I wonder if you'll already have them?

We'll see...

Don't know how universal Campbell's soup is, but the gold medal on their label...

...was awarded at the 1900 Paris Expo.

Mmm, mmm, good.

Well, I cannot comment of the other varieties,
but Campbell's Tomato soup was the benchmark.
Made with milk, the ideal pick me up on a cold winter's day.
Mmmmm Yeah!
Preferably eaten with a crumpet.

Ummm, not to be a critic or anything, but to cube a chicken you have to raise it to the power of 3!
