These are beautiful, thank you for sharing! Could I ask, what does it cost to have an item like that certified? |

Hi Just_fella
I mainly get my certificates from Chris Ceremuga, he is in demand internationally and those asking for a certificate will expect to wait from 3 months to over a year.
I normally pay between $125 - $250 per certificate. These certificates are recognised by international auctions and are worth the trouble obtaining.
His certificates actually increase the value of the stamp as the stamp's rarity is fully recognised.
He provides certificates to other countries as well. He does sell the certificates cheaper, for certain standard cheaper items he normally charges $30.
These fees may have changed as the last time he had certificates written out for me was in mid 2019.

Thank you rob, Appreciate the reply! I've been thinking about having a few things looked at for a while, there have been things I read that raised some concerns for me. Horror stories…of huge bills or worse… Does Chris have a website? I'd really like to look into this more, Again thank you for the reply! |

Have not spent much time with rarities except for KGV ink varieties.
Never have heard of this person.
Very impressive. Thank you! Great post! |

Hi KGV Collector
Chris Ceremuga is well known here and internationally and is sought after by auction houses here and overseas, he travels overseas every 3 months to attend auctions.
Nearly all my rarities have been certified by Ceremuga, his certificates are very detailed.

I agree on the assessment of Chris and have some Russian material with his certificates. You will see his name frequently at Cherrystone, Gartner and Feldman. |
