"Now it is your turn to take care of this set." Great suggestion, You should consider this!
(This area of collection is complex and you do require a guide to help yourself)
Of 25,000 sets printed, 20,500 were sold for 5$ to fund the scientific expedition of Dr.Sven hedin If you wanna look a little more into things |

@Just_fella: Thanks for the info. My grate grand father was one of those 20,500 who paid that price. He told me about it before he passed away in 1974 (but I totally forgot until now). |

Quote: I have a few that mean more then there "value" I reckon all of us who still have stamps from when we were children have a few of these. I know I do! |

@Just_fella, @perf12, Thanks for the advice. I am not looking for selling those. I do have some highly value inflated stamps (for example, 1968 PRC stamps, set of 5 with 1.4K USD per Stampworld and several times more on some websites). No plan for sale. |

Do you plan on collecting stamps from China? Seems like you have a good start, Could I recommend a catalogue to you? Might be worth it. |

I have many China stamps from 1900s to 1970s then stopped trying to get more to complete the collection. |

Have you looked into the China stamp society? There catalogue is on my hit list, one of these days I'll get one ;) China is just a casual area for me, I enjoy it from time to time

I have just checked out the China stamp society. Very interesting group! May consider to join in a couple of years (when I retire and have more time). |

Back it up. Where are the backsides on stamps I was led to believe by the title would be here? |

I try to keep an eye out for a used catalogue, haven't seen one go up for sale yet. Not that the 100$ Brand New cost isn't worth it, I have other priorities
