Well I did this yesterday @ Maresch and ended up with a Russian cover I didn't want. SAN was being laggy (not an unusual experience) and didn't accept my last bid on the previous lot (a Portugal collection), and then promptly applied my click on the bid button as the opening to the Russian cover. Tried using the "retract bid" button on SAN but no luck, and since no else bid, I'm now the proud owner of a nice 1889 registered cover from Russia to the UK.
