From the beginning of the town's Wikipedia entry:

"Dülken is a town located in the North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany. It has a population of about 20,000. It is part of the municipality of Viersen."

Note the dots of the umlaut inside the legs of the "U" in the cancel.

Rod,

Also, when looking for German town name on Falling Rain, you have to take into account the German letters -- Dülken is under , not Du.

Thank you all.
I was disappointed when I didn't find any reference on "stampsx".
My mistake ... I didn't see the 2 points above U.

Right, of course, Thanks Postmaster.
Had noticed before when searching FR, but never used it.

Hi,
Bad-Saarow cancellation of this type last used on 11.1.1945 (according to stampsx)
The cancellation has no star to left of (Mark) - only M. can be seen.
Could it be a fake cancellation?
These local stamps are listed in Michel only MNH.

Cupram, the Bad Saarow stamps you show are listed under "Unofficial Issues". (Similar stamps with denominations of 10 Pf and 15 Pf are considered "Official Issues".) There is a footnote which notes that these stamps were produced using genuine postal slips and the original typewriter, and were postmarked with backdated canceling devices.

I would categorize the postmarks as fake. The stamps I would categorize as genuine, but unofficially issued. Definitely collectible.

Found this and it is not as easy to find as you would think. It is now in my "stuff I like" collection

Sachsen Hilfswerk charity label on cover with postmark. Really the only way to know that it was not put on later.
