The Conundrum Of Valuation.

Easy, peasy.
From any link in stampsmarter,
Left click the address bar
The link will turn blue
Right click, select "copy"

Test by pasting to notepad.

At SCF click the "insert hyperlink" button
put cursor between the URL brackets and CTRL V to paste.

Do the same with ebay link
copy the ebay advert number, and paste between the URL brackets

Thanks Rod. This may need a new thread but...now to show my complete ignorance... I can click the link and get blue and it ends there. Left click right click. No idea. Are these mouse terms? Never had one. Macbook pro. Copy? Yikes. Hyperlink? Do I need Elon?

I had not considered your situation.

Fessing up, I cannot even use a iphone, typing with thumbs drives me crazy.

I am strictly a desktop man, Windows 7-10
with a MUST HAVE as a independent mouse.

Never had a laptop.

The "Hyperlink" is just the link address you will copy

When you are making a new post, the hyperlink button is this one
(The blue globe)

I am guessing you have a TRACKPAD (Eeeek!)
If so, here you go

You tube tutorial did not help but I have found "edit" on my Mac which does have copy and paste for a start. Found the link on clipboard. There it sits.

My latest attempt got me this far.

You don't have to know where the link is really,
once you "'copy" just imagine it is in the computer's memory,
to place wherever you want.

Try opening a new post in SCF

At SCF click the "insert hyperlink" button
put cursor between the URL brackets and CTRL V to paste. (or whatever keystrokes Mac wants)

Missed it by this much. Got the control c and control v and the hyperlink but missing something.

Hmmm..must be something from Mac

It is adding a "c" in front, and a ".webloc" at the end

Otherwise you would be away and racing.
Try removing those and copying what's left
That should paste to hyperlink fine

Dragone, you location says Chico Ca. If so, run up to Sacramento next weekend for the GASS. Many of the big name auction houses will be there and most major dealers will be attending. Take your stamp with you and they will all be more than happy to confirm or not that it is what you say it is. Likely you'd get a six digit offer for it on the spot *if* genuine.
