On 22nd February 2021 AP issued the Ramsar Wetlands International Post stamps to reflect the rise in IP rates to $3.40 for International US and Canada rate stamps, and $3.50 for UK and Europe rate stamps.
and they already are going up I expect price increase from Australia Post every September now. I can see the new gutter strip $2.90 international stamp on Australia Post shop, for sending to Asia. Also here is an image of the new $3.70 & $4 stamps.

Bingo! Thanks Jill, If I recall correctly, the $3.50 was to a UK address. so it wasn't a senior moment after all.

There is certainly no mention of any postage increase from what I can see from the official Australia Post website. For those who are interest in Australian stamps, worth to subscribe to the Australia Post Stamp Bulletin which is free.
To be clear domestic stamps are not changing international rates are going up, you can see the new International Australian rate stamps in my previous reply. They can be seen in the Australia Post online shop. Look up Australia Post increase.
