I counted / recorded these booklets from the top down. It may, however be necessary to reverse the list and count from the bottom up, in order for the control numbers to 'line up' and be in numerical order, or printing order, or whichever.

Thanks for the kind offer. I will consult with the other half of my stamp personality and see what he says.

He says we will get back to you on that.

I forgot to do the totals and sums.

Totals of Puzzler’s two packs of 25 (50 booklets)
Blank = 21 + 16 = 37
Blue 1 = 3
Blue 2 = 3
6-Digit = 7
Counting Tab on cover = 2 dark 3 light = 5
Or Counting Tab plus a 1, 2 or 6 digit = 1 dark 3 light = 4
Combo feature (Blue 1 or 2 plus 6-digit) = 0 (none) (although in another uncounted 50 batch there were 3)

Bee See's totals were
Blank = 35
Blue 1 = 5
Blue 2 = 5
6-Digit = 5
Combo features = 0

So, from a 100 booklet sample, the above two added together, we get:
Blank = 37 + 35 = 72
Blue 1 = 8
Blue 2 = 8
6-Digit = 12

So, roughly a (8-12) or 10% chance of getting any separate feature.
A Combo feature could be figured to be roughly 2% chance overall in a large sample (no accurate large data to judge by however). Need more data.

The counting tabs occur about 2 times in a 50 count so 4% chance (Of the darker, seeing with the naked eye really visible ones). My own guess on this one.

The next thing to do will be to tally up all the 6-digit numbers in order and see what is what with them. So far I do not recall seeing a repeat but we have a very small sample.

Hopefully, when I list them all, in order, someone reading this will notice something about them or one that they have that is already here so then we would know if these number repeat.

In Canada Post's Details magazine and on the inside back cover of each booklet is stated the quantity printed of 2,200,000. However, I am not sure if that is booklets or stamps. If you divide that number by 8 you get 275,000.

It would be great if someone knew which quantity they are talking about there. Is it number of stamps or number of booklets?

A strange pattern emerges. The lowest Blue 1's mostly occur with a low 6-digit number and the Blue 2's mostly occur with a high number.

But some of these Combo booklets with the Blue 2 were in Nova Scotia and Others were in British Columbia, one in Alberta.

The list of numbers that originally was in this post has been moved to Page 1 in the first post of this topic to make it easier to access. Thank you for your patience. Sept 7, 2010.

David, could you look at the 002874 one again and check if it is indeed 002 and not 082 or 092. Thanks.

This would be a different entry in the list above.

Canada Post always lists the printing totals in Details as total stamp quantities, even when different designs in the sheets or booklets. So that means there were 275,000 booklets produced. The only exception to this is souvenir sheets, where the sheet quantity is given.
