Quote: This method works for me. I find that AlbumEasy allows you to do almost anything, once you look under the hood and experiment... My method too. For my US Mystic album, I had used Scribus to make custom pages (redid well over 200) since I did not know about Album Easy. If you are working with lots of graphics, Scribus (or something similar) may be easier. It has a lot of nice tools to align and distribute objects (text, images). Scribus had a clumsy interface though and you could not create a simple table easily. |

Sorry, I hadn't read John Becker's comments. I don't collect France, only the art series, but when I come across too many repetitions of the same series, I mount it even if I don't collect it. That's how I started the DDR, I had 400 stamps less than the complete collection for change. I like mounting the sheets almost as much as collecting stamps and I do them for myself with what I have, I don't intend to exhibit or compete, I only want the stamps to be seen whole and in the standard classifiers it is not possible. I collect 14 countries, which I closed between 2010-2020, three themes and hundreds of loose series, only what I like. There are no pages of any brand for the loose series that are broadcast in several years. I have the Sabine together with the La Libertad, I rode them at the same time and I put Gandon with the Libertad, I had room left. |

Well defined, that's the formula, easy to follow and easy to do. I show three pages of other classmates. The first (always in my personal opinion) with an excess of parts and a lack of information. It belongs to a good friend who only collects basic world series. Old school, doesn't use a computer. |

This other one, quite the opposite; too much information and few pieces. It looks more like a botanist's collection than a philatelist's. And the third (I insist, it is my personal opinion) with excessive technical data, which will also be hidden. |

I have assembled this sheet today. In it I have dared to make up for the shortcomings of the Greek series. I hope the purists don't give me the philatelic excommunication. |

History shows that those excommunicated were usually the good men and women, Roberto. |

When you installed AlbumEasy, some examples should have been installed in your documents folder. One of these is SteinerExample.txt, which you could probably use as a template for your pages. If you have any questions, please post them here, or feel free to contact me directly. Clive |
