It is so new, may not be listed/numbered yet.
Have you tried www.stampworld.com ?
Otherwise, just have a little bit of patience

It was issued on 2022-10-07 as part of "International Letter Writing Week 2022". The Stampworld website omitted it for some reason. Can't find the cat. number.

It probably doesn't have a Scott number yet. My 2023 Sakura doesn't have the second half of 2022, and Michel hasn't yet catalogued 2022 Japan at all.

Thank you everyone for your input....very helpful!

I am not familiar with the stampworld website. After exploring it today, it appears that the stamps are not numbered (identified) with the Scott Catalog numbering system. What numbering system is this website using?

Is there a cross reference that ties the two numbering systems together?

Nope, there's no concordance. Scott (like all catalog publishers) is protective of their IP, so doesn't generally let people use their numbers without licensing. Stampworld, broadly, orders stamps only by issue date and value/amount. It does not account for errors, variants, color shades, paper/watermark varieties, etc. Once you find the stamp, you'd at least have the issue year, allowing you to directly go to a catalog page to find that publisher's number.
If you have an iPhone, you can use the Stamp Identifier app to 80+% (in my experience) ID a stamp, and it will return all the major catalog numbers (Scott, SG, Michel, Sakura, Yvert, etc).

Did you try to contact Scott and ask if they assigned cat number to that stamp yet?

Thinking a newbie probably won't know that Scott stamp catalogs are published by Amos Publishing, I googled, found a bunch of links, none were the "Contact Us" page, finally found it here.

Good luck.

Best way to learn, is by doing. No harm is having people actually spend a few minutes of their own time to try to figure it out.

I didn't know that too.
I googled "Scott catalog" and found a Facebook reference. There is a "Contact Us" on Facebook.

Literally the first non-sponsored hit when searching for "Scott stamp catalog" is the correct one. Or search Wikipedia and get the same answer.
