"Technical Progress:" Cross section of a pressure vessel in an atomic power plant, designed by Czech artist Karel Vodák (1923-2000), combined engraved by Ladislav Jirka and photogravure, and issued by Czechoslovakia on April 10, 1967 as one of a set of six stamps publicizing the Expo 67, held in Montreal, Canada, Scott No. 1464.

I like all the castellations and triangle shapes extant indeed.

That Sweedish stamp has always intrigues me.

A different kind of pattern, that of the Rose window in the Lausanne Cathedral. The team of Peter von Arras is credited with painting the glass of the Rose, 1235. (Switzerland, 1974)

Another design from Austria. (If you look at it from a distance, you'll see what it's supposed to be; just as the Columbus design made of raindrops "12/5/2010" is at first a ?.)

Self-adhesive stamps.
The designs show €0.39 and €0.78 in dot matrix.
According to the designer Martijn Sandberg, the round dots are related to the perforation which is the most unique property of a stamp. The red-copper and nickel colors of the euro coins reinforce the commercial aspect of these stamps
