South Africa 1966 Women's Day
National Women's Day is a South African public holiday celebrated on August 9. It commemorates a rally of members of the Federation of South African Women (FSAW) against the Apartheid government in 1956.

The stamp set honors Queen Amina of Zaria (1533-1610), a Hausa historical figure in what is now in the northwest region of Nigeria. She ruled the city-state of Zazzau from 1576-1610.
