Additionally, "entry" of an image on to the plate by the transfer roll is not done in a single pass, several passes my be used, the whole process is still just "entry" with no 're" to it.

Also just because you see an anomaly on the plate, that does not mean it was a flawed transfer entry. The entry can be a perfect reproduction of a transfer roll flaw. Plus plate features can be accidentally added or removed during plate polishing which has nothing to due with the transfer process. The same is true when the transfer roll is prepared after the image has been added.
