Amitvyas03,
Gorgeous collection!! I like how you have them arranged--what kind of paper are they on and how did you attach them? (newbie question)

Nice sets, Amitvy - I like maritime/naval issues myself!

gussyboy1, I didn't arrange the stamps myself. I bought six such albums (each on a different theme) for INR 10 (about 20 cents) each . Here is another page...

I like the coloured pages you have mounted your lovely Russia collection on. Tell me about your album leaves.

Ok, off topic but on title: From Russia With Love.

And David, don't you have that 007 backwards and confused?

I keep seeing commercials for the latest Bond flick,
Quantum of Solace, due out November 14th. Daniel Craig
does a great James Bond. Good to see Brosnan go, his
contribution and that of the producers with their feminist
slant are Bond films I don't much care to watch again.
Even Aussie Lazenby's one-time outing as Bond was better.
Craig was terrific in Casino Royale. Hope he comes through
on this one, too.

Maybe someone can tell me for sure that the one with cherries
is Russian... ??? The others are obvious. The one in question
was loose in a world stamp envelope. All 50s-60s vintage.

Anyone with any info would be awesome.
Thanks

Ratio, the cherries are from Bulgaria. The one directly beneath them is from Serbia.

Okay, thanks!
I thought the guy in the hat looked out of place, but he was
actually in the Russia envelope, unlike the cherries... The
letters looked Russian, so I put that one in the group.
Good to know. Probably the only Serbia I have.

And the Bulgarians, referred to as "Bulgars" worked for the Russians in Turkey in
From Russia With Love, which coincidentally is the title of this thread!
