Holy Picture Postage stamps Batman! I am going to take up collecting hexagon-shaped cancels instead of these things now. Wait, I Am doing that. lol $127.50 USD for the Alaska picture postage and the four other older ones. I bid low a half hour before the close and got typing away and reading on Stamp Community and then went back and here are 5 bids placed in the last 9 seconds of the auction. How fast do you have to be nowadays anyway? Picture of stamps auctioned saved here for posterity because I will probably never see them again. You never know but it is nice to have a reminder. |

At least the guy who won was in all the way. I wonder how high he was prepared to go. It was wellover $ 125 I'm willing to bet. Well there are a bunch ending in 5 hours so we will see if he wants to own the world. At 5:00 PM today I plan on becoming a seller on E-bay. Any tips and tricks Puzzler? |

rallymanm, Depends on how much you know about ebay or sales. Use all the title space. Use words that people search for. Do not use abbreviations unless people use them already. Copy some things from people who list a lot and sell a lot too. Do not use the same exact title for different items. Be professional, friendly and respectful. Use common sense. Put a nice word in for Stamp Community (no links, not allowed on ebay). Have Fun! Be patient grasshopper. |

Sorry Rallyman, it was me. Puzzler knows my coded I.D. . I wanted the Alaska Cruise. I don't need the rest of the world , so I will leave the others alone, even the Freestyle Ski stamp (good luck), which I think is a real sleeper, as it was made by Canada Post. I am broke now anyway. |

Excellent grab Bee See ! Congratulation! I was hoping it wouldn't go that high but it is the rarest of the rare. I wonder if anyone has a record of how many were actaullt made of those with either style? |

Thanks Puzzler. I was just lucky to beat Rallyman (no worries about the few bucks, Rally), just 2 seconds before the end. |

The Alaska Cruise stamp is the first that I have ever seen used with a printed photo. It has a readable dated cancel from Saanichton (Victoria) BC, 2004. When I get it, I will post an enlargement here. |

I think I have seen one used one in 5 years on ebay but I thought at the time I would just collect the 2063 and 2064. Changed my mind now and the hunt is on. |
