The fellow who made those covers of Horten's Landing is in the Noca Scotia Stamp Club. He is hopefully bringing a special knife he uses to make the envelopes (had made, printed at a Staples on heavy paper.) to show me next month. Plus other covers.
Nice stamps. I recognize the RPSC one but haven't seen the others. Nice Nice. |

I got a couple of covers today that are the postal stationery with the stamps printed on them - but still picture postage so I think they count Huh. The big news is I got my 3 rd stamp and completes the Datsun 510 Rally car pair. I will attach pictures of course. Puzzler - the 3 stamps and the cancel from CBN were particularly well struck so I will post a copy. Too bad I already send you the other one, BTW did you get it today.... Cheers Murray |

The Text colour was supposed to show better but I am colour blind so it appears I kinda screwed up. Anyway it says " Datsun 510 Carson City 1981" Cheers |

That's a Niiiiice cancel rallymanm. Thanks for posting.
I do wish the people in postal power would decide to use real picture postage stamps. They could then issue the commemorative envelope sand the separate stamps in limited numbers and thus bring attention to Picture Postage. Ah me. To be on the cutting edge. Slightly ahead of our time . . . |

Well that was interesting - 2 sold for .99 and 1 for 4.81. I should have started them at 2.95 I suppose and might have done better. Has anyone ever sold on Bidstart - they just redid their fees and look a lot cheaper than E-Bay. Does anyone have any comments pro or con? Let me know. Cheers Murray |

Hr rallymanm, ebay seems to have the most exposure. I haven't tried bidstart yet myself. I think their fee structure is changing soon although I can't find my email from them or find a notice on the site. |

Nice covers! I like the arch. I was just thinking of collecting aqueducts and arches. Must stop thinking. Too expensive.
What snow? We had sun today. No snow on the ground now as the rain took it away the last few days. Freezes at night though so bad that way fr getting around. Oh, you mean we have snow coming? I don't watch the weather as much as I should. |
