No Puzzler I do not have that balloon issue, but I have bought stuff from Modcanjim before and he bought from me, I know him well, we graduated from high school together, but lost touch when I moved to Vancouver in 1989, but re-met through ebay!! Unfortunately we could not meet when I was in Montreal the past week. |

Quote: No Puzzler, you keep that! That looks like part of the envelope I sent some items to Rod in before I went to Montreal. Whew! I bit my tongue, when I offered it to Puzz, I suddenly felt custom may suggest I offer it to you first, I don't know what etiquette exists there. Fortunately all's well, that ends well. |

Now, I appreciate everything everyone has done for me and others all of the time, and this stamp has nothing to do with the conversation above. It was just the next in line to be scanned. Books on Stamps Sometimes known as the good book, the Bible: |

That is one fine light house envelope Bee See. Wow. And the lightjouse is hexagon shaped also. Double bonus points from me for the subject matter.
Those were only 25 to a sheet I think so where are the other 23? Gone away at Christmas? I still like that gold border from years ago too.

The missing Seaway invert anniversary stamp found, not cancelled on an envelope from Bee See. I took it to the Post Office today and asked if they could cancel it for me, but I am not keeping it on the envelope,. That would be confusing, return address in BC and postmark in NS. ha. I shall keep it as a cut square maybe, not sure, cancel is somewhat off and smudeged but still good. |

Quote: That would be confusing, return address in BC and postmark in NS. That may be true, but would be quite legitimate. That is what the receiving post office is SUPPOSED to do, cancel uncancelled stamps with a local postmark, rather than hiring the MARKER MONKEY as in the other thread! I even have a cover with Tuvalu stamps that was sent to me, uncancelled in Tuvalu but cancelled in Canada with a nice Vancouver postmark! |

Hmmm, never thought about that. It does look better on the cover. I will keep it there. Thanks for that Bee See.

Did you hear about the Leafs' fan who was the victim of somebody breaking into his house?
The burglars didn't take anything; but, they left him a pair of season tickets to Leaf's games. |
