I unfortunately do not have any good quality scan. And no, the stamp is not mine. I asked my seller to, if he gets a Penny Black in his store to tell me, and I asked him to send me a picture. I wanted to buy one, but I wanted to do research before knowing if I buy it or not.

Got it. All as mentioned above re: condition / cancel. Not unusual cancel / color based on quality of image. Here is the site I mentioned: http://postmark-reveal.com/

You haven't said what the seller is asking for this. Unless it's relatively cheap, I'd look for a copy without the faults at top left, and with a clear cancellation.

The Postmark Reveal Website is doing its job. That is, it takes your image and shows you different manipulations in an attempt to better show you the Postmark. It usually works, but sometimes not. The problem is that you don't have the stamp, so we only have an image behind plastic, which is not helping Postmark Reveal do its job. When I tried your image, the best I got was the following, but you can see the Maltese Cross is blurry:

Just as an aside, here is my Penny Black with a similar Maltese Cross, scanned directly (not in plastic):

Postmark Reveal can do a better job with a clean scan:

It says as much Manchester as it says not Manchester.

Sorry for there late response. As pointed out, if you upload an image and process it, you will get multiple variations of the image with different processing applied. This will allow you, most times, to see things that may have otherwise not been visible before image manipulation. If you have a photo processing software program you can do the manipulation usually yourself. However, postmark reveal does a relatively good job quickly for you.
