On 20 March 1973, PTT issued a single stamp dedicated to flower exports (NVPH 1025. The stamp depicts a field of tulips in a continuous design.

Affixing 50 one-euro stamps to this St. Pierre & Miquelon courier letter to Paris left the postal clerk in a flap. The clerk missed post marking one row of stamps.

.975. ST. PIERRE. * 25-II 2003 SAINT PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON

The envelope contains 14 impressions of the postmark. Still more were needed.
