This postcard from one SC.Scott from USA(Wonder if it is the creator of the Scott catalogue) addressed to someone in Paris. Also specified at the back the name Philatelic Society of Canada. Would appreciate some details and infos about this postcard and the stamps. Thank you

Wrong initials (John Walter and not S.C. edited the first Scott catalogue), also, Calmar IA, as far as my limited knowledge of American geography goes, is and was not part of NY.

Asj, I believe NSK is trying to tell you that the Scott catalog was back in the day issued from New York and not from Iowa

SC Scott of Calmar Iowa was member number 93 of the Philatelic Society of Canada, an organization that was only around for 2-3 years. See the link below for an exhaustive history of the PSC along with the membership roster.
