You will receive the items pictured. I am happy to answer questions will show potential buyers that you are there to help should they have any concerns.

Condition: see pictures! The items have been preserved in the binder for many years. My grandpa collected these, but I do not collect this type of stamps.

The product is a collection of US FDC first day of issue stamps covers from 1937 to 1968, all carefully stored in a collector's binder. These colorful stamps feature First Day of Issue cancellations and originate from the United States. This collection is a valuable and historical piece for stamp and cover collectors, providing a glimpse into the postage history of the United States during this period. Each cover represents a significant moment in the development of United States postal services and serves as a cherished addition to any collection.

What a terrific time capsule of history. Unfortunately, as you are aware by the fair opening price, there is very little monetary value in this period of First Day Covers, particularly uncacheted and addressed. There is only sentimental value for the family following your grandfather's moves to different addresses across the state. As a kid I enjoyed creating FDCs and having them mailed to myself. It was a thrill to be the first one on the block to receive a new stamp that no one else has seen before. I wish you good luck in finding a buyer, but with the postage costs these days costing more than the value of the items themselves, if it doesn't sell, your best bet may be to donate to a local stamp club that may have contacts at a school that can use them. I hesitate recommending donating to a random school without knowing if they have an avenue to put this history to good use, because otherwise you are just burdening them with more stuff they don't know what do with.
Good luck and thanks for posting, it brought back some good memories.

@ZebraMan

Thank you for your comments. These are in the binder from my grandfather's collection. He wrote the table of contents by hand. You could tell he loved these FDC. I loved spending time with him and working with the stamps.
