RM31 is the Scott catalog number in the US Specialized catalog. GB issued revenue stamp for use in the Americas and not used in GB (except some reused after being over-struck with a British revenue).
Thanks SPQR. Given your expertise in the space do you think this is blue or blue-gray (fewer than 11 in private hands)? I also have two RM 30s (Die A and Die B) and a RM 27 Die A
It looks blue from the scan but I'm on vacation and can't check my records. There is also some dispute as to whether the blue and blue-gray are different papers or just differences in light exposure/environmental conditions. The RM31a cut squares that I have seen are all unused remainders
