As has been stated many times before, stamps are political by their very existence. Anything that potentially affects the financial end of collecting is also likely to be political in nature. The idea that politics can be separated for every thread and every post on this forum is not dealing with the reality of the above. No one is being forced to read every post of every thread; people should be able to pass by those posts that do not interest them without complaining about what they might say.
110 percent accurate.
This is simple. Have a healthy debate about a topic that cannot be divorced from politics but do so by focusing on POLICIES. Just leave the ideological animus towards the current POTUS at the door since it adds nothing and enflames passions while adding zero benefit.
Calling the current POTUS "mean" or impugning voters that have different views from yours by saying "you voted for this" etc. adds nothing.
Keep in non-personal.
I voted for the current POTUS as did the majority (that is why he is in the Oval Office). I do not like this policy. I did not vote for the last POTUS but did like some of his policies. I did not post comments calling the last POTUS "sleepy" or "corrupt" or anything else personal in nature.
Keep it civil.
