I know almost nothing about non-US revenue stamps. But last year I found a small group of French documents with revenues. Below is one that I decided to try and sell (hence the watermark).

All I know about the company is that they were "a long established importer of coffee, cocoa, oilseeds, and similar products".

I've decided to share it here since the cancel is so sharp. Maybe someone here can comment.

Your stamp is listed in Yvert catalogue as "Effets de Commerce" # 350

Dufay & Gigandet was a well-known company here in France. They were also based in Le Havre.

Their initials DG or DGC can be found on many French perfin stamps
