Not ready to toss anything BUT I have stopped or slowed down greatly acquiring the following:

British FDCs - I went on a binge and realized that though pretty and some very interesting, the market for these are weak (except from the late 1950's and earlier and even then it varies) and it isn't worth loading up my collection with them unless I really was into this area which I am not. Maybe a high value stamp FDC every few years now and then but I hope to sell off some of them at a lower amount than I paid at one of the postcard shows of the club I belong to.

I have gotten much more interested in postal covers and interesting postcards (used and not used). To make room for these, I will consider possibly using, selling on ebay some of the postal stationery I have acquired. Nevertheless, I do plan to review all the postcards I have received from postcrossing and let go of 20 - 30 %. I find these can be of interest to collectors at online selling platforms. Seems like a burgeonong but still nascent area of interest as postcrossing has been around for about 15 years with interest picking up in the last 5 - 7.

Private posts - except for Rattlesnakc Island Post and Hawaii post, plan to not get anything else. Hawaii post stop selling their items many years ago and RILP produces a small amount of them.

Reduce my focus of worldwide stamps. IU like to get a smattering from different places around the world but I do have to focus my collection more. Still, I will get a nice modern French stamp as the designs and quality is generally very high, stick with French Polynesia, and after that a few "small" countries - Sudan, Palestinian Authority. I will get british commonwealth and french territories only when I explore a worldwide grabbag for fun. And even then I am getting those much less due to space.

Finally, although I love United nations modern issues, here too I have to slow down due to changing focus. The main issue for me is getting shgeets of stamps sometimes. Really it is only worth doing so if it is a great design - there was one in particular that works beautifully as a sheet, the Body, Mind and Soul series from 2023. Really is stunning as a sheet. But sometimes I think now it would have been fine just getting a single stamp.
