Please see the scan which shows this stamp without the star on the wing. Everything else appears normal and it does not look over-inked. Sanabria makes no mention and the same for Scott's. I collect world air mails but know nothing about Bulgaria. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it the upper wing or lower wing that is missing the star? A larger scan would be helpful.
