James Bendon passed away on 4 May 2026 while his latest book was in the final stages of production.
It is now published in his memory by his family, who will be operating his website for the time being.

James was a long-time member of the Cyprus Study Circle, a philatelic author and publisher specializing in the history of the UPU and UPU specimen stamps, and a philatelic dealer for more than 50 years
