Nashville Philatelic Society-Your Invitation To Our Auction Night Meeting Monday, September 28, 2026

We had a very good meeting with 25 members and 3 guests attending. One of them applied to join our club and another was confirmed by the club as new member.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

During the business meeting there was a report on the new stamps that would be issued over the next couple of months by the USPS. Future stamp shows in the area were also announced.

There was a report by the collection coordinator that no new stamp collections that have been purchased by the club since the last meeting.

The Club Treasurer reported that he will have a quarterly report at the next club meeting.

Two of our dealer members setup their stamp stocks and several members looked and bought a few things.

Several members had a good time looking through the APS circuit books and also bought stamps from a donated collection.

Our club auction had 41 lots and we sold 37 of them with some spirited bidding on many of them and everyone had a good time!!!

The food was delicious as always.

Our next meeting is on Monday, October 19th with a program on "The Columbian Exposition issue of 1893."
