Need help identifying this folded letter:

Sender is a Mr. James Spence from Edinburgh.
Recipient a Mr. Ferguson (no city, so local).
Contents discuss disposition of a recently inherited property.
Postmark as follows:
1st line: JUL
2nd line: W 5 (in a circle) A
3rd line: 1815
Surrounded by a hexagon.

You haven't posted an image, but I think from your description you have an Edinburgh postmark. Here is the information on it taken from "Scottish Postmarks" by James Mackay.





The B under the image is a rarity factor, which in this case means fairly common.
