probably not the De La Rue you're talking about but I thought I'd take a shot.  Letter inside, I love the part on how they lost all their records in the Air Raids on London  |

The third, and final, issue of IPSA (Independent Postal System of America) was printed by de la Rue in Brazil. Most of the printing was destroyed when the promoters failed to make payment. |

It says he died in 1866, just after the U.S. Civil War. The South sure could have used him on their side, their noted were so widely counterfeit. |
