i just ordered a 5 pound kilo of us on paper, a 8 ounce off paper.
i hope it comes soon.
it cost only $ 30 plus $ 6 shipping

i bought one of the same about 3 years ago.

it was tons of fun.
i just do not know if to take them off paper.
the last time I took them off and had some loss.

i am looking for some of your thoughts here.

Hi! LONEDAN

Nice to hear someone excited about kiloware.
It is great fun and the best part is
you can collect so many different ways at the same time.

Happy stamping. KGV.

I keep any on paper that have clear post marks or slogan cancels - even a partial slogan - you might find the other part on a different stamp! These I just trim to neaten up and lose any unecessary excess paper. Others I soak. I don't think I'm going to bother soaking self-adhesives though, just a close trim. I know others manage it (see discussions elsewhere on the forum) but I haven't time to master the technique.
I think soaking in small batches helps reduce losses.
Have fun!

I agree with stampgal. If you can see that the "perforations" are die-cut (not actual perforations, but just a pretty edge cut that way) that is a sure sign that you have a self-adhesive stamp.

The other thing is that sometimes there are hard-to-see faults on stamps that only become evident once they are removed from paper.

Never use force to remove a stamp from its paper. If a water-activated stamp does not want to come off, it probably means that it was glued on with a water insoluble glue.

thanks for your advice

i loved getting my last delivery.
i was like a kid in a candy store.
i ordered it on monday.
it is coming from california and I live in pennsylvania.
i will try to tell you my finds.
i may not be able to scan...my 4 in one is broken on the printer side. and just will not let me use it.

i am sure I will get a ton of plate numbers
i think $30 is really nothing for all this fun
