By now I am starting to learn what stamps and countries everyone likes. However it has been hard to keep it all together. I thought it might be easier if we took the time to list our what we collect in one thread.
I even posted a quick poll so we can see at a fast glance what people collect the most. Of course you can narrow it down in your post.
This will make it easier for people to trade with each other.

My main collection is US MNH and US used. I like the classics but collect the entire production years.
I also collect worldwide, I am trying to build my Canada and Australia stamps. However any world wide stamps are fine.
I do get into some US covers and revenues also. |

I collect primarily US MNH all years, most categories except Ducks. I dabble in revenues, postal cards, stationary, FDC's, event covers, and whatever else grabs my attention. I topically collect Abraham Lincoln world wide and US Highway Route 66. |

Great topic, Mkfarm. I might point out here, that on the left hand side of the screen, under the heading of "Navigation", you will see a section called "What our Members Collect". You can list your collections here on a permanent basis, where as this thread will disappear eventually. Having said that, I collect world wide, anything from anywhere, but must be postage stamps, not interested in Cinderellas or BOB etc. I currently have 232 different countries and states. Always looking for more though, if anyone has any odd ball countries that I might not have, let me know and we can organised a trade. Steve |

I collect WW up to 1931....
After 1931, I collect WW complete sets and long definitive sets such as King George IV and Queen Elizabeth II
I have a Scotts, German Specialty album up to 1960, and a album using the Steiner program that goes from 1961 to 2007.
My topical area is Christmas around the world.
My Canadian collection, Scotts album goes to 1965 used, and MHN from 1977 to 1985.
The only US that I dabble with, is a collection of pre-cancels, which is a joint collection between me and my grandson.
I also have a Vatican collection to 1990.
Last but not least..WW covers |

I collect "everything", but here is what I specialize in:
--Canada Mint --US Mint --GB Mint --Australia Mint --Ireland Mint
I have dedicated albums for all these countries. I also have been getting into US and Canadian precancels as a diversification.
I collect other things to, besides stamps.

My two main interests is pre 1960 US used and Great Britain, Victoria, Edward VII and George V, also used. Mint doesn't do anything for me except make me worry about gum, and there are more important things to worry about. In my opinion, it is ridiculous that a major portion of a stamp's value is in undisturbed gum on the back of the stamp.
Having said that, I'll save just about anything if it is interesting. |

My primary collection is used Germany and Berlin from year 1 to date, including semi-postals and officials. I do not collect states and occupation issues. I also collect postally used covers and have developed a special interest in Berlin Airlift related material. I've also started picking up Ersttagblatts (first day of issue souvenir sheets) in the recent month or so.
Thanks to PhilB, I have started a Guatemala collection (up to 1970) and I'm looking for one mint and one used of each issue.
I also collect mint worldwide non-rectangular issues (triangles, diamonds, circles, and odd shapes).
My most recent infatuation is with the issues on the free APS album pages. I'm about 80% complete filling these with mint U.S. issues, although this will be an ongoing effort as they add pages (Lincoln in 2/09, state flags, and so on). |

My main collection was US MNH until I became so irate at the US Post Office that I switched solely to US used.
I also collect Czechoslovakia and have a MNH as well as a used collection. |
