I don't recall seeing either pizza or hamburgers commemorated on a stamp.

Yes, they seem to have missed doing an "America's Foods" sheet or series. Would, of course, need to include hot dogs, french fries, milk shakes, BLT's... and APPLE PIE!

Many countries have shown their food on stamps. I collect Indonesia, and they put a series of stamps out showing traditional dishes. I know Britain put a set out on British foods. I'm sure an American series on food would be popular.
