Uncovered this in a box of miscellaneous stamps and covers. Thought some might find it of interest:



It's on card stock but in 8.5" x 11" size. Would that suggest it was made in the U.S. rather than Great Britain?

Why wouldn't he have Rod?

Wasn't he King/Emperor when he signed the abdication papers and was so until Georgie accepted ?

I'm surprised at the animosity towards Edward still after all these years especially since in my opinion the Stutterer was no

Oh I don't know, Litho. Eddie has proven to be a Nazi sympathizer, and a bit of a boob at that (used by his German friends). Bertie (George) at least stayed in London and gave his subjects a bit of a role model to get them through the blitz.

I think they would have gotten through the war with or without
the royals.

About his so called Nazi leanings. Why did all this stuff come out
after he died when he could no longer defend himself?

Besides there where lots of English Nazi sympathizers before the war.
It's easy to judge people in hindsight now.
