Norway Post (Posten Norge) is celebrating the opening of the new opera house in Oslo by issuing a stamp depicting this magnificent new building. The stamp was unveiled at an event in the opera house and will be on sale as from the date when the building is opened, 12 April.
The stamp shows the new opera house seen from the sea – with water reflecting it in the foreground and a glimpse of the city behind it. The photographer is Petter Karlstrøm while designer Madeleine Mortensen has designed the stamp.
