Here is an envelope I found in a drawer. It also has a letter in it. It's nothing valuable as far as a collectible stamp is concerned, but what makes it intriguing is that it is from a professional basketball team that is no longer around. The Cincinnati Royals. My dad must have wrote them at some point while he was in the Navy. I thought it was pretty cool since I collect some sports stuff too.

never knew there was a Naval Air Station in rhode island..
hmm home of the SeeBee's and a P-2 wing.. I was stationed at BNAS (Brunswick Naval Air Station) with a Marine Company.. I used to ride in the P-3's once in a while. Fly from BNAS to Norfolk NAS.
